2013 Abbott Summer Sports Camp

            Teaching Life Skills through Sports
The Key focus of the Abbott Sports Camp is to establish a fun and encouraging atmosphere where your child can improve his or her skills and have fun doing it.  The emphasis of these summer camps is on improving your childs' technical skills while enjoying the sport, practicing good sportsmanship, building teamwork, and teaching important life skills that the child can use both on and off the field/court.  Our goal is to guide and teach every camper according to their ability while making the activities fun and rewarding.  Each sport will break down the fundamental skills through easily understood games and excersices to help improve the athletes overall game.

*Each camp will follow the same time schedule:

8:30 am Camper drop off and sign-in
12:00-1:00pm

Lunch (will be provided)

4:30 pm Pick up for all campers

Sports

Basketball, Football, Soccer, Softball, Tennis, Track & Field, Volleyball

Other Activities

Dodgeball, Kickball, Tie Dye, T-shirts, Water Balloon Fights, and MORE!

July 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 5th (No camp July 4th)

2013 Summer Tennis Camps


USTA Quickstart Camp

(Age: 5-9 available in Morning Sessions Only)

Exciting format designed by the USTA emphasizes playing to learn with the use of “fit right” equipment including balls, racquets and courts.


Development Camp

(Age: 9 and up)

Featuring a comprehensive curriculum, lesson plans are based on a progressive format that teaches new skills, strokes and strategies preparing students for High School and Tournament play.

Tournament Camp

(for players actively competing in District, Sectional, and National Level Tournaments)

Emphasis is placed on assessing, improving and motivating players ability to compete at their peak performance level. Special emphasis is placed on preparing players to manage their attitude, effort, Focus, Footwork and Technique in competitive situations.

• All Camps are offered Monday - Thursday
• Payment is due in full one week before the camp begins.
• We do not offer refunds or make-ups for missed days.
• Please bring a bag lunch. We have a beverage and a snack machine.
• Please come to camp with a water bottle, sunscreen and a hat.
• Do not bring any valuables or camp distractions (gameboys, cell phones, etc.)
