Our outdoor complex feature 20 natural grass-playing surfaces of various sizes for use by players of all ages, on 100 acres of a 215-acre complex. There are twelve internationally sized fields (80 yards x 120 yards), including the Ethel S. Abbott Championship Field, which has lighting and a seating capacity of 2,500.
The remaining fields are sized according to age, with 4 fields for micro-soccer at 40 yards by 60 yards and medium-sized fields at 50 yards x 80 yards. The Abbott Sports Complex is capable of holding multiple sporting events, including but not limited to soccer, lacrosse, rugby, football and others.
The retention pond located in the middle of the complex stores excess runoff and recycled water from a Goodyear production facility, located several miles to the southwest of the complex. This water is used to irrigate the outdoor areas. The irrigation scheme is both environmentally conscious and cost effective.
