3rd Annual Nebraska Volleyball League
For Grades 5th-6th and 7th-8th
Looking for the best opportunity to improve your volleyball skills this fall and compete against the best players and teams in the area? Then join the NVL with teams from Lincoln, Omaha, and the surrounding areas. Tryout for a team in Lincoln or Omaha or put your own team together and play in the tournaments.
Players and teams from any club, school, or town are welcome!
League Format:
Teams will practice one night per week and participate in four tournaments: 2 in Lincoln and 2 in Omaha. The dates for the tournaments are as follows:
Sept. 19th - Omaha
Sept. 26th - Lincoln
Oct. 17th - Omaha
Oct. 24th - Lincoln
The Lincoln Tournaments are played at:
Spikes Bar & Grille, 2300 Judson, Lincoln NE
The Omaha Tournaments are played at:
The Volley Center, 1212 North 102nd Street, Omaha NE
Independent teams may register for the touraments. The independent team fee per tournament is $60.00.
Lincoln Tryouts
August 9th 7:00 PM
Tryouts are Free. Online Registration is Required to Participate in Tryouts. Athletes will be grouped by compatibility.
5th & 6th Grade (volley lites)
7th & 8th Grade (regular volleyballs)
Players selected at Lincoln Tryouts Receive:
1 Night of Team Practice (Tue or Thurs nights)
1 NVA Coach
2 NVL uniform t-shirts
1 NVL long sleeved t-shirt
4 tournaments
8 weeks of volleyball
**Early Registration fees: $180 Abbott Member
$230 Non-Member
**Late Registration fee begins August 1st ($190 and $245)
