Our private one-on-one lessons give you the privacy and direct attention needed to learn the most difficult skills in volleyball.
Then look no further than our semi-private lessons. In groups of 2-3 athletes, coaches have the ability to create more “game-like” circumstances in a lesson setting.
Our group lessons cater to groups of 4-6 and really open up the possibilities for drills and training.

MEET OUR COACHES
Bryce Hickerson--Bryce comes to us from Chicago where he played and coached volleyball at Sports Performance Volleyball Club. Bryce also played college volleyball for MBU for 5 years. Bryce is currently the NVA 13 Reds head coach and heads up many of our volleyball and performance training programs at NVA. Bryce specializes in hitting and jump serving along with helping girls with their all around game in passing, blocking, and defense.
John Schmidt--John was recently hired as the Assistant Director for the Nebraska Volleyball Academy. He is originally from Texas and has 10+ years college coaching experience at both the Division I and Division II levels. Additionally, he has coached with eight different club volleyball programs in Texas including the nationally renown Austin Juniors, Dallas Skyline, and Texas Advantage club volleyball programs. He directed the Club West End junior volleyball program in Austin, TX which had 9 teams and 110 participants in their first year. Over the years, John has spent his summers working numerous college volleyball camps including Notre Dame, Purdue, North Texas, and Alabama. Schmidt earned a bachelor’s degree in mass communications and a minor in exercise and sports science at Texas State University.

Brittany Behrens--Originally from Beatrice NE, Brittany played club volleyball in Lincoln and was an All-Conference player at Creighton University and an All-American at Wayne State College. She is currently attending the University of Nebraska-Lincoln College of Law, with an expected graduation of May 2010. She is also serving a one-year position as junior varsity volleyball coach at Lincoln Southeast High School. During her high school and college playing days, Brittany played both the setter and libero positions. She specializes in setter training while also training girls of all ages in every facet of the game.
Kori Cooper--Kori wrapped up a stellar career at middle blocker for the Husker Volleyball team by averaging 2.49 kills and 0.85 blocks per set following knee surgery in November of 2008 to earn honorable-mention All-America honors. She was an All-Big 12 and All-Central Region performer who finished first in the league in hitting percentage at .372. Out of high school, she was considered one of the elite players in the class of 2006 before suffering a knee injury that forced her to miss nearly her entire senior season. Kori was tabbed a Volleyball Magazine Fab 50 pick and the No. 12 player in the country according to Prepvolleyball.com. She Co-captained the U.S. Youth National Team to a fourth-place finish at the 2005 Under-18 World Championships in Macau, China, and a first-place showing at the 2004 NORCECA Girls’ Youth Championships. She was a three-year starter at Amarillo High School, leading her team to a regional finals appearance and two regional semifinals. She earned first-team all-state honors for the second straight year in 2004. She played club volleyball for Colorado Juniors, leading her team to a 17th-place finish at the 2005 18-open nationals. She specializes in attacking and blocking skills while also training girls of all ages in other aspects of the game.
Tara Dye--Tara recently graduated from Graceland University in Lamoni, IA where she was a setter under the 12-time Heart of America Athletic Conference Coach of the Year, Stew McDole. In her fifth year of college she was given the opportunity to accept the position of Head Coach of one of Graceland’s junior varsity volleyball teams. She led her team to the JV HAAC Conference Championship. Tara has a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education and Health with a Coaching minor. She has also coached for three years at the high school level and is involved in many aspects of coaching with NVA. She recently moved to Lincoln after getting married and adding a new member to her family. She coached club volleyball with NVA this past season and was the Head Coach of the NVA 16 Black team. She specializes in setter training while also training girls of all ages in every facet of the game.
